About Me
Speaker | Founder/CEO | Yoga & Meditation Instructor | Yoga for Athletes | Stress & Anxiety Specialist
I am a leading voice in the world of wellness — a yoga and meditation teacher, speaker, and founder who blends ancient practices with modern science to help people heal from chronic anxiety.
With over 20 years of teaching experience and a deeply personal understanding of anxiety’s grip, I have guided thousands toward a calmer, more resilient life. As the founder of DoYogaWithMe.com — one of the world’s most trusted online yoga platforms — I have built a global community grounded in accessibility, compassion, and evidence-based practice.
My unique approach integrates mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic awareness with a storyteller’s heart and a researcher’s curiosity. Whether I’m speaking on stage, leading transformative retreats or developing online courses, I create space for people to soften, reconnect, and rediscover their inner stability.
Educational Experience
’ve been a yoga and meditation teacher for over 20 years, with training in functional anatomy, pranayama, and therapeutic movement. My approach is grounded in both personal experience and science.
I hold a degree in Environmental Biology from McGill University and have also trained in therapeutic massage, vipassana meditation, and public speaking through over a decade as a member of Toastmasters International. I’ve explored a wide range of mind-body therapies—including holotropic breathwork, psychedelics, and hot-cold immersion—to better understand how anxiety lives and moves through the body.
As the founder of DoYogaWithMe.com, I’ve helped millions find relief through simple, daily practice. But more than that, I’ve worked closely with those who felt stuck, exhausted, and unseen. I’ve been there myself—and that’s why everything I offer is designed to be accessible, effective, and deeply compassionate.

My story in a nutshell
From High-Functioning Anxiety to Lasting Calm
For much of my life, I lived with a kind of anxiety that was invisible to most people—but exhausting to carry.
From the outside, I looked grounded and capable. I was leading yoga classes, building a successful business, and showing up for others with presence and care. But internally? I was constantly overthinking, second-guessing, and running on fumes.
Even when life was going well, I felt uneasy. There was a tightness in my chest I couldn’t explain. My thoughts looped endlessly. I’d wake up in the middle of the night with my mind racing, unable to fall back asleep. And no matter how hard I worked—or how much I accomplished—it never felt like enough.
That’s the thing about high-functioning anxiety: you become so good at coping that no one realizes you’re suffering. And often, you don’t realize how much it’s costing you… until you start to burn out.
I tried everything I could think of to manage it—meditation, therapy, supplements, mindset work. Some of it helped for a little while. But nothing created the kind of lasting shift I was searching for.
Then, one day, I came across a simple idea that changed everything:
Anxiety isn’t just in the mind—it’s in the nervous system.
That insight opened a door. I began to explore breathwork—not just slow breathing, but more dynamic, high-ventilation techniques that activated and cleared stuck energy. I started incorporating somatic practices that allowed my body to release what my thoughts couldn’t fix.
And over time, something profound happened:
I stopped trying to manage anxiety, and started healing it.
I began to feel safe in my body again. I could rest. Breathe deeply. Sleep. Laugh. Connect.
The tension that had lived in me for so long finally began to dissolve.
That’s when I knew I had to share this work.
As a yoga and meditation teacher with over 20 years of experience, I began creating programs that combined breath, movement, and mindful presence—specifically designed to help people who felt stuck in their heads and disconnected from themselves.
I didn’t want to just teach yoga.
I wanted to help people come home to their bodies—and their lives.
So if you’re reading this and you feel like you’ve tried everything… if you’re tired of holding it all together and ready to feel different—I see you. I’ve been you.
And I’d be honored to guide you through the same path that helped me finally feel free.
